A Gift From Rikki
Dear Friends
For about two days or so, I’ve be walking high on a cloud; a cloud of happiness.
I have been given one of the most precious and valuable gifts I have ever received. They say a girl’s best friend are diamonds. Oh, yes, they are nice, I have to admit, as a mater of fact, all jewelry are nice to posses but I consider them more of a material possession.. What I really consider valuable is something that someone took time and effort to create with their own hands; of course, along with love of family and friendship. Well, amongst the many friends that I have gathered here there is one whom I have become close to. Her name is Rikki Woods whom is a tender and a loving soul. There are many things we have in common and one I find, is our sense of humor and of course, our “unbelievable” stories. Rikki has created this beautiful Iris for me and says she plucked it out of a garden. I say she plucked it out of her special garden of fiends which she faithfully waters and showers it with love. The rays of her sunshine have made us bloom. So whenever you see my new avatar, please remember Rikki, the one with the gift of love.
Now please forgive me if you hear from somewhere a giggle, a laugh, a groan or a moan, it will be because of her, that I am now willing to write and gift her a “POEM”

You told me once you are a friend
You told me twice, you told me thrice
I want to hear it once again
Please repeat it once more because it feels so nice
We are friends or are we not?
What an unforgiving memory I’ve got
Sometimes we talk; we say too much
We want to say everything all in a rush
We then realize that we have to leave some
For tomorrow
Oh, Shakespeare was right when he said
“Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow”
At times I might feel like a song without a bird
You will sit right next to me and xoxoxo and not say a word
So even if I am quiet and sad
I feel like we shared some hot chocolate
And that was the best conversation we’ve had.
With this I ask the one above
Send my friend Rikki an angel
Send her one of mine
Send her the best that in me you can find
I want that angel that I can trust to care
Someone to love her and to be always there
To fill her with hope, joy and laughter
An angel to be there for her forever and after
You know she sent me one of hers
An angel in the form of a heart that is pure.
We have so many miles between us, an ocean away
So please ensure my angels fly to her and stay
I am sending her a little message
Along a petal of my flower
It will be our friendship
A piece from me a piece from you
It will be forever ours.
