“If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things in nature have a message you understand, Rejoice, for your soul is alive.”
The Greater Blue-eared Glossy-starling or Greater Blue-eared Starling (Lamprotornis chalybaeus) is a bird that breeds from Senegal east to Ethiopia and south through eastern Africa to northeastern South Africa and Angola. (Wikipedia)
If a blue bird visits your garden, you can call yourself a lucky person! I was delighted to see two of these starlings in my garden this afternoon!!
