Paletteknife and oil on an x-ray: 43 × 35 cm., original available

ART: Oil
FEATURED in Mozambique and neighbouring Countries
16 Nov. 2011.
Painting with a knife is a bit like putting butter or jam on bread and produces quite a different result to a brush. Painting knives are excellent for producing textured, impasto work and sweeping areas of flat color as well as tiny shapes of color. I love my palette knife and the freedom it gives me!
This could be on any of South Africa ’s coasts, an imagenary painting.
