Van Ryhnspas by Elizabeth Kendall

Van Ryhnspas is between Nieuwoudtville and Vanryhnsdorp in the Nama Karoo, South Africa. In bygone years the Vanryhnsdorp’s mountains were home to the San and many fine examples of the art of these Late Stone Age hunter-gatherers exist in several rock shelters.
The village of Nieuwoudtville, an isolated town, about 50km off the N7 and just over 300km north of Cape Town, is best known for its spring flowers. The town lies on the Bokkeveld Plateau where the Cape Fynbos meets the Hantam Karoo, Bushmenland and the Knersvlakte. It is a place where the experience of silence, space and stars contribute to a tranquil way of life.

“Goodmorning Liz!” This is such amazing view! This would image would be perfect for the “Nature and Man Group” I will leave you a link. The “Nature and Man Group” is for all your wonderful images that have a Manmade element in them, co-inhabitated with Nature. For instance ‘Towns, communities, roads, people, houses, rooftops, fenceposts". As a long we can see more than 40% Nature with the Manmade element. Thankyou Liz for your wonderful contributions to our Group. Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead.
