Lazuli Bunting bird – passerina amoena – perched in purple ash tree with budding leaves. Found in the Western half of the United States and parts of Canada.
This bird was located in an urban setting during the month of May. These birds migrate south for the winter and are seen in the mountain states from late April through early September.
