This is a photo of a mated pair of wild Bald Eagles roosting near their nest. The photo was taken along the Madison River in Yellowstone National Park, in Wyoming, USA. This huge, dead tree has now fallen completely down, destroying this Eagle nest.
Canon EOS-1v, pro film body, using Fuji Velvia 100 slide film, with a Canon EF 300mm f/4L IS lens plus a Canon EF 1.4X Extender, all on a Bogen 3221 tripod.
The slide was scanned into a digital file using a Plustek 7400 slide scanner.
Hi Joe, Please add the state and country to the info, then resubmit it to the Wild Nature Photography and Writting Group.. It is a great capture, and I know where Yellowstone National Park is located, but many from a different country may not know and the rules state it has to be exact location, including state and country. Thanks Carol
Thanks for the heads up Carol, I will add that info and re-submit . Thanks !!
