This is a photo of a wild Whitetail Fawn. It was taken in Cades Cove which is located inside The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The photo was taken through an open, side window of the old Cable Mill in Cades Cove, so that the fawn was not approached and not disturbed in any way.
Canon EOS-1v, pro film body, using Fuji Velvia 100 slide film with a Canon EF 300mm f/4L IS telephoto lens, handheld with IS activated.
The slide was scanned into a digital file using a Plustek 7400 slide scanner.
