In May, 1956, we were taken here, on the steam train, from Port Melbourne. What a shock it was. From the privacy of a small bathroom, in Gouda, to this. For my parents and me, this was followed by Scheyville, Villawood and Matraville. All similar. Thanks for this!!
It must have been a lot harder for a family to find a new start then it was for me as a single man as for me it was more of an adventure,thanks for your great comment
