This composition quite rightly flies in the face of the Thirds Rule. When beautiful symmetry and architectural features control the image, there is no other way of doing justice to this scene.

ooh beautiful. I have a shot looking towards that staircase, but I never thought to do it your way – yours is so much better!

(and while I know where it is, it could also be Labassa, or another. Labassa’s staircase is identical)
