Featured in Australian Travel Photography and Writing Yes, I as a junger Mann used to go to this beach to swim and as early as I can remember their were warnings of the blue hole. Fishermen used to take tripods out and sit on the reef chasing the tailor schools of the back of the reef. One fisherman was washed into the blue hole and never came out. I belive they actually blue up part of the reef and removed a major part of the danger. Kids used to surf here and when the swell was right this area had great waves.
