Worry not about our short time
Or when it will all end.
For, who knows the exact day?
Who knows the exact hour?
Fear not of the chaos around you.
For there is order, even in that.
Only Love can help us find our way
Out of the deep, dark trenches
We had lowered ourselves into.
Our character is often tested,
Tested in the most dire situations.
The passing of these tests are
In how we rise above our strangling weeds
Always rising towards the sunlight,
Even in the rain.
It is also in our perception –
Your weeds are another man’s wine.
It is in how we bloom, reach out and
Help others see that they too
Can always rise again.
When/if it does end in our generation, perhaps it will move us forward, towards something better.
