Reductive Ink printing is somewhat of a cross between block printing and screen printing. Using a table top for a print plate and tracing vellum for masking and texturing, one basically reduces or builds up ink on either the plate or the paper in layers and transfers the image via pressure on the backside of the print. Amount and placement of pressure affects texture and anomalies.

As an artist I admit to floating between worlds of reality and perception, peering into many concepts but seldom at home in any. My art work is therefore a scattered and biased report of these journeys. Not the world as it is or as it should be, rather possibilities of what may be.

Love this print; love the light coming through on the bottom.

  • Thank You. This print was mostly an experiment and thus greatly accidental.
