Gum Do Girl

Bic round stic and liquid paper pen on sketch book paper.
Gum Do (pronounced Kgoom Doe) is Korean for Way of Sword. The hungul (characters/words) are the background image.
Each breath is of life and death. An expression and acceptance of soal and mortality. This is the infinate second before talgum/palto/drawing of sword. Here we reflect on all that will come and all that has passed. This is as close as most will ever get to understanding the sword and its place in the world. To draw is to accept the failure of victory.
