i love the detail in this and im amazed at the talent it must take to do these in pen….id have made a disaster area if i cldnt erase!

Thanks for the coment. This pic is mostly the result of having nothing better to do on a 14 hour flight to Korea. So far as earasing… That is exactly why I draw primarily in pen. It all started with a former college instructor ( Mick Reber ) requiring our homework sketch books be done in pen, no earasing. It forced us to learn wieght of line and gestural line, ect. I do use a little wight out pen now and then to take out major mistakes or to pull highlights.

Especially on the face, I do see a skilled etcher here in the likes of M.C. escher, maybe better…
But the whole thing is totally enjoyable.

A comparision to Esher?! Wow am I flattered! Funny though that the majority of my attempts at true etching process prints have been dismal failures. Feel free to check out some of my Reductive Ink process attempts though. Thank you for all your recent views and positive comments.
