This flower bloomed from larger succulent plant out of my back yard. I don’t know the actual name.

The sun was shining just through the tip, while the flower was deep into the shade. It appeared to me as if, someone where shining a flashlight into just the tip illuminating and revealing only what you see here. My lens focus was on capturing the Anther, “inside of the flower” and the leaves from the outside in. I do love this image.

The top right edge was a little overexposed, which I tried to correct in PS lightroom. I don’t think it takes away from the beauty.

Although my love & passion for photography began when I was just around eleven; I didn’t take it seriously until my latter years. When it comes to photography, I consider myself a baby as there is always more to learn.

In the end, if what I have created is appreciated by others, it was worth sharing. One never knows how their work of art may inspire someone else.

Isn’t that what it is really all about?
