ALL-EE IN COME FREE

All-ee, all-ee, in come free!Echoes a voice in damp, dusk Fall, an early eve.A child, like once myself, at play with glee.Little feet in grass with dew, and green.A distant sigh of that one found, in dark castshadows, old oak trees. As sun’s light falls a memory, early night, its edge, with mist I see;Musty smells of fresh piled leaves, the mind of a child only a heart can see, the way long ago,we used to be.All-ee, all-ee, innn coooome freeeee…………….

Artist's Description

We all have played hide and seek. I used to play it alot in the Fall when I was a child and the poem expresses my remembered impressions of those days as a child.

If one ponders these impresions, they will conger up similar memories of such carefree times. This is a copywrited work.
