This is me – for Meet the Members
Just as lovely as I thought! Your dance card would still be full:))) Sandy
Thank you Sandy – you are just too kind – and the thought of a dance card! How wonderful! I just remember us all hanging around the end of the disco wonder if that special “he” would ask for the last dance! How innocent we all were in those days!
this is so beautiful!!!!!!!!! lovely, lovely lady … !!!!!
Thank you Lois – you are lovely, lovely, lovely!
Thank you Trixi.
Very nicely done!! SP are so tough to do…congrats girl! Lookin’ fine! :)
Thank you Wendi! I think for me this is the hardest image I have ever done! TBH, I wanted to use PS to its fullest and take out every wrinkle and blemish, give myself long flowing hair and red lips – but somehow I thought none of you would believe me! I was glad we could use a bit of texture though!!!1
Gorgeous portrait Sue, lovely to see you :))x
Thank you Chris – this exercise of Kira’s was really very clever on her part (I think!)
There you go…what on earth were you worried about!! Gorgeous!I think Kira’s idea is brill…now we can ‘see’ each other and really put a face to the chat! You are perfect! No more nonsense about yuk, please!!!Pxx
Thanks so much ladyfriend. When I first saw Kira’s message I nearly died! And did a freaky one at first – but then thought I ought be a bit more grown up (trouble is I still think I am 18 inside – but don’t we all!)
This is just beautiful. What wonderful skin you have and i get just a hint of your eye colour. Well done you for doing this I know how hard SP can be hugs Karen : )
Karen my love, you are just too kind – and thank heaven for a bit of texture! Big, big hugs to you back xx
looking good Sue, a hard task that Kira sets us,lol, probably good for us though :)))
Hi Margaret – at first I nearly had a fit when I saw what Kira wanted us to do! But, hey ho! There we go – it was much worse than looking in the mirror and seeing my mother! I already knew you were beautiful from your profile pic! xx
Yes I agree with Karen, that is the first thing I noticed, Sue. What beautiful skin you have! Sue you are just as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside. I’m so glad you did this, my friend. I think most of us felt the same way about posting a portrait of ourselves, I just cringed at the thought, but I have to say after finding out I’m not alone in the self criticism boat, it has been really good for my soul. I’ve been thrilled to see the responses, not just to my own portrait, but to all of them. I DID NOT want to do this, but in the end, I’m so glad I did, and I’m glad you did, too!
Hi Chrissie – and thank you for saying such lovely things – though a bit of texture can hid a multiple of blemishes! LOL! But, as you say, it was a good exercise in the end – I would never have done it if not for Kira – and Steven (husband) loves this – or so he says! You are beautiful with that wonderful smile of yours!
What a beautiful portrait Sue……really so lovely to see you here. I think this little exercise of Kira’s has been so good for us all!:-))
Thank you Lynda – yes I agree, it was hard exercise but I think it has done us all good really.
