“People often get lost. They think, so, we’ve got to find new ways of sneaking up on it. So what we’ll do is we’ll add some more ingredients. And then you get very over – fruited cakes. Which is what we’ve got in our day and age, are some very over – fruited cakes.
And people have ingested so much of the fruitiness that they can’t taste anything without it in it. They eat only the strongest flavors, and they think anything without them hasn’t got a flavor.
And that is what is known as being an idiot – in the true sense.
So what we do is try to undermine idiocy"

hey carson
im glad you liked it man. i love the intimacy of it.
its great to see him there painting those pictures with so little anxiety or fear which you find with so many painters…. haha. he makes it look so straight forward.
like billy loves to say. “theres nothing special or clever about art. that attitude is just a way of keeping the jobs for the boys”. when you see him sitting on the floor with a cereal bowl containing paint, making 10 versions of the same river scene. Thats when you get his work.
peace bud…

thank you so much for this
bright moments.
