Start of another year of waking every morning and going to sleep every evening with FOX and CNN. My youngest, a Captain in the US Army is on his way to Iraq for the 4th time.

We made a sacred promise to be together forever.
I wish I was with you when forever came.
I wish when this time came, you wasn’t so far away,
I wish I could have told you again how much I loved you.

I can see that it’s now peaceful for you.
I wish I wasn’t alone with only the memories.
I wish we are together again.
I wish forever never came.

You should know by now, my heart belongs to you.
I wish you could have waited go.
I wish we could hold each other again.
I wish I could feel alive once more.
