Outrageously Pink Orchid
This really pink orchid is from a series I just completed on orchids. This is a flower, in all its’ variety, that is quite fascinating. The colors and shapes it can take on are almost endless.
The camera used for this shot was the Canon 5D full frame digital. The lens was the 100mm Macro. I always use raw mode, and in this case the strobe was sync’d to Aperture Priority @ 1/200 sec with the camera set to f16 using a UV2 filter. The strobe was Canon’s 430Ex with Gary Fong’s light dispersion adapter attached.
