Good shot, you have obviously thought about the different elements in the pic and tried to get some balance. It definitely needed more light, less cloud obstructing the sun. But as I said, the weather, what can you do? :)
More exposure – sure, but the dark tones really make that pin-point of light stand out against the distant shore. A little muddling with tones or color saturation might bring out the pink in the sky, as well as lighten up the scene. Still, it’s a good shot, particularly with the couple walking along the boardwalk. Well positioned.
