Hmmmm, love this one – the light is beautiful and the pose is relaxed. That looks like a caesa scar – so much like mine! Gorgeous treatment. Yeah life’s a bitch but, I wouldn’t go back in time for anything other than painlessness.

I was three years old when they cut half my abdomen skin away to make a skin graft for my leg….so even as a child there was pain….I’m certainly happier now :)

I’m glad you’re happier now, Mel. Childhood pain can be a difficult thing especially at such a young age. At least as adults we can understand cause and learn ways to deal with it.

It’s my earliest memory, having the dressings changed, and I know I couldn’t understand why they put me through it….It seems I spent a good part of my early life trying to understand what they put me through. Agreed adulthood can be a lot less trying, in so many ways.
