The March Hare--for Vestque

He no longer jumps,
Doesn’t hop or skip.
He sits at a table,
With tea he won’t sip.
He’s friends with the mad,
A guy in a freaky hat.
His eyes are glazed over,
Don’t bother to chat.
That guy in the hat,
Broke all of the watches,
The hare never leaves,
The worn table’s patches.
He pours a warm tea,
All over the ground.
He’ll zone out for hours,
On a tinkling sound.
He is prone to strange outbursts,
Delirious rants.
Between me and you,
He doesn’t wear pants.
If you want to be brave,
Stay if you dare.
But remember my warnings,
About that Mad March Hare.
