A while back, I did a journal entry on reaching 1000 cartoons and used it to give a short desciption of the process that got me starting in cartooning…

Well, as you may or may not know, I’ve been absent from Redbubble for a while. There were two reasons for it.

First and foremost, I’ve changed my day job. After 16 years as a research scientist for a goverment institution in Australia, I was offered a position for a big company. Pay was not the motivation, but the better work conditions and the fact that they were keen on the type of research I do. I moved to this new company with two friends/colleagues, so it was basically a very nice transition. The only issue was that the firewall at work blocks me from accessing hotmail and redbubble…

Cartoon Exhibition in Sydney

The Alliance Francaise of Sydney will host an exhibition of about 90 of my “It’s a Jungle out there!” cartoons. It will be combined with a couple of book-signing sessions (my “Beware of the Dog” book:
