I am a hippie through and through. To me it is all about caring about the world outside your little materialistic life. And though its associated with 60s and 70s, what’s wrong with that? The post modern hippie of today have even larger and tougher issues to battle! Climate change, imbalance of wealth, diseases in the 3rd world, extreme consumerism and criminal acts.

I love all the world and wish for peace. I think that people might be changing a bit, but it’s not enough to wear the cute “peace” clothes unless you believe what you are trying to portray.

Being self reliant is the only way to beat the establishment. What does that mean? Well, grow your own veggies, use biodegradable things and pick up your trash. It’s that simple.

As Lennon said, " Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all the people Sharing all the world. "
