I received this beautiful bouquet of roses for my birthday, along with a new Canon EOS 50D.
So I decided to try it out!!!!
Plus a little experimenting with the tinting from PhotoShop
Now the learning & fun begins!!!!
With every photo there is a lasting memory!!
A special moment in time or a special place.
My camera is the window to my heart and soul.
It reminds me of the beauty in this world.
Whether it is a smile,a tear, children,people,animals,insects,birds or mother nature at her finest!!
It will be forever captured to be shared by family and friends..and it will bring back memories of when!
May all my memories last a lifetime!!

I guess I was spoiled a wee bit this past week.
Flowers were always a given …BUT… the camera threw me for a loop!!!
Wow what a difference from my Canon PowerShot S31S
I sure have my work cut out for me now…study and learn…so… if you have any helpful tips, I would greatly appreciate them.

My biggest tip would be to just expect a big learning curve, it is not a point & shoot type of camera. Take your time, don’t be disappointed if initial results are mixed. Minor sharpness adjustments will be a common requirement but gives exceptional results. Looking forward to your new images, feel free to ask any questions as you move along : )

My daughter in law …aka “CAMERAHAPPY” also received a Canon 50D from us for an early graduation gift , so I was blown away when I got mine…when she is finished Teachers College we can learn together.
