Hi, I live in New Castle Pa. I am a musician at heart but due to an accident in 1999, I was forced to lay down my drums and guitar. I had cut off two fingers on my left hand. This is the fretting hand. I thought let me try photography because i could manage it with one hand, (rough) but I did it. So i read books, watch stuff on the net, etc…
In the mean time I was going threw therapy on the hand, (They re-attached my two fingers) and it was rough but after 3 years of therapy 3 days a week I am able to bend only the back knuckles on those two fingers. Now I’m playing again with 3 of my fingers and I’m replaying lead guitar!!!
I went out in November of ‘07 and got a SLR, (Rebel XTi) and I am going full force back into Photography.
I love it more now than then because now I’m not being forced to do it. Now I want to do it.
To all the talented people out there doing photography, don’t give up and you can do ANYTHING you put your mind to.
