Good news!
Well I heard about my camera today, and the good news is, it’s not going to cost too much at all! They’ve replaced the circuit board and given her a lubrication and clean up. Should have her back early next week which will be great, I’ve got such withdrawel symptons!! So much so that I borrowed my girlfriends camera yesterday to take some photos!

Update on Camera
Well my camera has gone for a holiday to Melbourne! Seems it might not be the shutter button after all. The aperture isn’t being sensed at all, so it may be the circuit board yet. Big Bikkies!!! They’re going to get back to me with a quote, then I have to decide whether it is worth fixing. I can’t afford a new body so I’m really hoping that it isn’t going to cost too much!

Camera out of action!
Well I won’t be uploading any photos for some time, my camera has died!! The shutter button has shuffled off its mortal coil! I’m taking it into CR Kennedys in Adelaide next week for them to look at, then it will probably be sent to Melbourne. Just hope it doesn’t cost too much and isn’t something more serious!

Old Vivitar Lens?
I am after a macro lens, came across an old Vivitar one which fits my new Pentax K100D, focuses beautifully etc etc, but one major problem, I can’t push down the shutter!! Am I missing something here or are they just not compatible?? Also had the same problem with my old lenses from my original Pentax K1000.
