City Street in Blue

City Street in Blue

This is an experiment, it is a scan of a black and white photo I took about 25 years ago with my old Asahi Pentax K1000 film camera. It is of an intersection in Adelaide at night. I scanned it then put the blue tone through it to give it a bit of atmosphere!

Brilliant photography, and it is great fun going back to your old negatives and start being in control of your own images instead of the labs ruining your masterpeace!

For me, this makes the whole street rather noir, which, of course, is a great thing :) I’m trying to place the street – is it Currie Street?

  • gypsygirl replied

Thanks Cailean for your kind comments, from memory I think it was the corner of King William St, Currie, Grenfell st.
    Cheers Tina :-))
