For Loves Lost

For Loves Lost belongs to the following groups:

Four centuries. Four long, wonderful, horrible centuries.

Four hundred years I have fed, and run and loved and lost.

Lost everything I have clung to. Every face I have cherished. Every laugh like soft music.

Every tear shed in grief, longing or joy.

Every caress…forced or given freely.

Four hundred years of learning to love, only to watch love fade with time. Learning to be ‘human’ only to feel the monster demand sacrifice.

After all these years, I am ready. If my soul is damned then may it simply be the end. If I may be spared the lash of hell for my attempts at compassion and love, then may I be granted time again with those I have loved…and lost.

Now, as the beauty of the sunrise I had once lost is returned to me…...

nice, i like the addition of the length of time that the vampire has been around, because it gives more perspecive into the desperation of the creature. lovely work, and excellent portrayal of a vampire and it’s frustration at it’s curse!

Some even start ancient and work their way backwards….which is like mr trying to find how to link my entry “The Curse Of Doctor Fangelstein”...I see the “home” page group have accepted it…but does that mean it is linked to the comp..”What’s been Lost”...maybe just my link is lost ??? can someone please vamp it up if that is necessary….ta :-))
