Photograph taken in Zhujiajiao, China. Located on the banks of Dianshan Lake, Zhujiajiao is connected by so many streams and crisscrossing rivers that the town has been called the “Venice of the East.” Founded over 1,700 years ago, Zhujiajiao has still maintained the treasured buildings and customs of ancient China. This young girl was waiting for a canal boat.
