Poppies and Blue Arizona Sky by Lucinda Walter
Photograph of Poppies in bloom in Southern Arizona. They signal the coming of Spring here in the Sonoran Desert. This brilliant yellow-to-orange flower with varieties showing peripheral white, blooms from March to April in our area, depending on winter rains. The flower remains open only in full sunlight.
