chaos & control

“Sometimes you wake up. Sometimes the fall kills you. And sometimes, when you fall, you fly.”
~Neil Gaiman

Perhaps in many contexts, there is a serendipitous wonder in gaining control (flight) out of chaos (falling).

But with apologies to Neil, in the context of love, at least for me, I’ve observed the opposite— love is entering chaos (falling) after wandering about under the illusion of control (flight) – Oh, both dreams and reality are so hard to understand. I won’t over think it right now – I have to catch a flight : )

never reaching ground

...and sometimes when you fall you die…to be reborn again, with mended wings that fly higher than the sky :)
ok sorry it got me rambling….
this is amazing. i love these quick snippets of your intriguing mind you put on pages. This one in particular. It is terrifying to fall…losing control. I am not quite sure I could let myself free fall like the brave hearts do. xxx

That’s the deal, when it’s going right, you can’t match the exhilaration. And when it goes wrong you can’t match the pain,
