“In Times Gone By”

This is a photo of the abandoned “Twin Mansion” that was built in 1885 by Antonio Estudillo. It is rumored to be a haunted property and has been reviewed as such several times. The other Estudillo Estate is a California Historical landmark located several miles away. ( I have chronicled that in photography also ).

I have to admit a certain sense of mystery that surrounded our visit to this abandoned home. First it was the large Olive Tree Grove that was unkempt and hid the estate. Had to watch our footing as we weaved our way through the overgrown terrain. Second was the eerie feeling that someone was watching our every move. Third was the question as to why this place had been vacant for 50 years in an area that is pretty prime real estate. The home itself is an exact replica of the historical Estudillo home. It was a very interesting visit… to say the least.

USE THE MAGNIFIER TO GET AN UP CLOSE LOOK AT THE TEXTURES AND EMBELLISHMENTS THAT I HAD FUN WORKING WITH. THE WATERMARK DOES NOT APPEAR ON PURCHASED PRODUCTS.
