You have some amazing paintings in your gallery, Guntis. I’m pleased I came across you! This landscape has superb light and colour. As I imagine the hot world of Australia.
    Adding you to watchlist.

Yep this painting is going be better known by more people every year.I think it’s a famous painting-so much to learn in it for an artist and others…..........
but then again you’e rached these strospheric heights before on many paintings…...... but it’s getting more frequent lately I seem to be noticing

  • Guntis Jansons replied

It’s a great site as you remember Ted. I keep going back to it. It’s always inspiring.

Some of your work reminds me of a Scottish painter Jim Wylie
Love this, I think it’s the colours as much as the subject

  • Guntis Jansons replied

Thanks Carole. I had a brief look at Jim Wylie’s work and it’s quite good. I think I’m more a realist.
