I have a Panasonic FZ50 and use two conversion lens for macros. This was captured using ‘Olympus MCON-40 55mm Macro Extension Lens’. I was using a tripod as well (well, sort of, I was it like a monopod – just one leg – since the bees kept moving around and, when the camera is at 12x zoom, the conversion lens has a focus distance of 40cm plus/minus not much so it’s kind of frustrating. I plan to upgrade to a DSLR with a macro lens.)
The v ibrancy (oversaturation?) and sharpness are also thanks to Lightzone, a handy piece of software.
