wonderful work……. excellent
Thank you very much.
Beautiful shot! It looks great in black and white! The shadows look amazing in the front, it gives it a dramatic look! Congrats on your feature!
Thanks. I was walking away from the Abbey, turned to take a snap, and then repositioned myself by a few feet once I saw where that shadow was falling.. It turned out okay.
Thats a really unusual shot. Well done.
fantastic and beautiful shot–well done and congrats!
many congrats on your feature, such a beautiful image, well done
Beautiful shot, very brave to shoot into the sun too. Taking risks is what its all about.
Really? Out of interest, what is risky about it? Damage to my eye? Glad you like it, anyway.
Hi Guy, in reply to your question I would be more worried about the sun simply ruining the photograph but you managed to use it to enhance the photo. No photographer worries about their eyes when it comes to shooting into the sun, we just never care do we.
I suppose I wouldn’t look through a 300mm lens at the sun, but the 8mm super wide lens is almost just like seeing with your own eye.
I do like shooting into the sun. Contre jour..?
