Legend has it that the island of san Giulio in Orta Lake, was once dominated by a big snake that had destroyed everything … but when Julius, a Traveler approached the Holy Lake drove the snake, he laid his coat over water and salendovi almost had a boat headed towards the island without getting wet. …. Tired and near death wanted to elect that place as his final resting place and decided to build his 100th and final Church. The island appears as a place of great mysticism. Today a wonderful place to spend an enchanted vacation. ….(…..)
