My dwelling huge; foreboding
Boasting stone, flexing steel
Never a wonder, whence comes next meal
Sentinel the gates; no prying eye’s
Yet my Kingdom infested
Both traitors and spies
Adore the fair maidens, sitting high on my perch
Long as I do with unquenchable thirst
Desires of day; passions of night
Grandeur my destiny, Nobility my plight
Strong be my word, loyal subjects would listen
But am I a King, or an inmate
Imprisoned
The Castle
Just a thought on the old saying ” The grass is always greener on the other side”.
