Dried and stale;as day old bread
My desires and dreams;stepped upon
Trampled as the green grass lay
No place to run,to no man can I turn;no consolation
Yet I push forward oh Lord
No defeat will find me as will not despair
For I find inspiration
On wings of prayer

This gives me a feeling of hope. I don’t know if that is what you were shooting for, but that’s what I got. Hope…that no matter how bad things are, through trust in God and the power of prayer there will always be hope.
