Ty very much for your comment’s,….. cahotage, I do not mean any insult to you fellow artist when I say that I left the meaning of the scripture Proverbs 16:18 out of this piece. I did so on pupose because I feel it is such a strong statement and should be wieghed with thought and emotions, perhaps even if going as far as to make the viewer work a little for the answer to a perplexing puzzle as our world often is. One need only to cut “Proverbs 16:18” and paste it in the search window of any browser for many definitions to appear. Oran, Ty for posting the meaning and your compliment, and Jamie, your very welcome albeit I feel guilty to say Yw for the images this piece brings to mind.
Gudmike – I think, please – my opinion here, that when I look at a piece of art it should speak for itself. I see faces of two men, politicians, an atomic bomb blast, hands I can’t see and falling leaves. I am not going to Google a bible verse to find out what you’re trying to say. The bible is not a universal language, nor is the koran nor the book of mormon. I am not going to search for terms from them when put as a title either. I am not in any way, shape or form being negative about your work. We all have things we want to say and we convey them in the best way we know how. Good luck with your work.
gudmike… i really liked the puzzle aspect of this peice…. actually i wish i hadnot read the comments before i studied your work……..art that makes you really think is a very good thing……..b..
This discussion is the very reason that Current Issues requires a few lines about the meaning of your work for the rest of the community. :-) I will approve this work because it is AWESOME and relevant to the current global political climate. Thanks for creating it and sharing it with all of us.

All things change. Bush and Blair will end up sitting next to the dribbling Thatcher and Howard in some retirement home for Aged Despots and Tyrants, doing macrame.

p.s. something else I get out of this is that you’d need the signer (person doing sign language) to get through to all those with their ears wide shut.

This is very unique. I like it. It’s art in a way I’ve never seen before. Great job.

What does that verse say? I’m sorry, I am unfamiliar with it – perhaps you could add it to the description?
Prov 16:18 – “Pride goes before destruction & haughtiness before a fall.”
Great imagery (love the fall)!
:D
Powerful image !!! Thanks for saying what many of us feel.
