Welcome! You’ve just entered the personal portfolio and creative playground of Gudrun Eckleben.
My big passion in life is art and design, and my portfolio showcases some craft projects to reflect my style and show some of my favourite pieces of art. I enjoy colour and simple naive shapes. I’ve also taken to hobby photography, and especially enjoy macros and textures, but also travel motifs.
In recent times I’ve become a versatile graphic design freelancer working intercontinentally.
In the past I’ve worked as a graphic designer, art director and art studio manager in the cities Cape Town South Africa, London UK and Sydney Australia respectively – some of the most inspiring cities. I believe that I bring considerable portion of enthusiasm to any assignment and creative project.

But saying all that, I get most of my satisfaction and drive out of my craft projects and from the positive vibe on RedBubble. The printmaking method, illustration, mosaic, collage – they are a perfect balance for me to an otherwise overly technical graphic design environment.
