In many foreign countries, palm trees are used to line the entrance to a large estate, or “Finca”. This is the welcome you would receive if you was to go to one of the Countries largest dairy farms.
This particular dairy farm has over 1,288 cows, and 20 milking machines. Each machine can milk 20 cows simultaneously, and cost over $60,000 USD apiece. The milk that comes from this farm is processed and finally gets shipped all over the country as whole milk, lactose free, fresh cheese, curds, spiced cheese, cream, and milk candy.
Don’t be fooled though, only a few yards ahead of this beautiful drive is two sets of gates, and 24/7 security guards (with really big guns). What else can you expect of a major producer?
