An original red Iguana photo.
This shot is unprocessed, only slightly cropped for a greeting card.
These animals can be surprisingly tame, but are generally quite fierce when found in the wild.
Due to a lack of education in third world countries, people hunt them for a special meal, or to sell as souvenirs. Some are fortunate enough to get be unseen by people, and manage to get away, possibly only suffering minimal damage.
Thank you for your comments!

We love to take photos, but mostly we love people. We have often traveled to different countries at our own expense to help out after a disaster, or to help somebody learn to read. We try to take pictures that will brighten people’s day. Thank you for looking!
