There are so many relics of the 1800’s thru to the very early 1900’s in this city. If you look around, you’ll see buildings that have survived since the mid to late 1800’s. This is part of an old strongroom/storeroom that sits behind some buildings in what could be considered ‘the old quarter’ of Rockhampton.
I entered this in the Mood and Amb(ie)nce group challenge ‘Introspectively Interprets Life’. The image for me shows the terminality of life. Life is finite, and decay eventually sets in to take life, whether it be a living entity or an inanimate object.
