I like the maths feeling in the background. Very nice work.
James Knowles replied
Thanks Dorothy! Good observation! The maths effect is symbolic of human thought – the main concept in this piece! (Geniculae is a play on ‘geniculate body’: either of two protuberances on the thalamus which relay auditory or visual impulses to the cerebral cortex)!! Hope that didn’t send you to sleep!! ;)
Sophie Shapiro
Wow! This is amazing! The colours and movement are like therapeutic energy that can give us so much! I wish I were a sculpture and new how to bend materials, I would be inspired by your fantastic portfolio!Sx
James Knowles replied
Thanks Sophie! It would be awesome to see some of my work turned into sculpture! You’re giving me ideas now! Right! Where did I put the plasticine? ;)
Romo

John Fish
beautiful and powerful image. suggests one second when everything comes together to change or start anew
James Knowles replied
Thank you John! It is to do with thought in a nutshell, and I’m loving the interpretations of this image, as they all hold a lot of truth to them! :)
Helen Chierego
It has a sculptural and dynamic look and feel. Fantastic!
James Knowles replied
Thanks Helen! So glad you like it! :)

Thanks for the definition. My Wordweb program does not have Geniculae. So the lightning in the image is where a neural message interfaces – trying out my Very Bad English here :-)
James Knowles replied
Pretty much! In a theoretical sense that is (with a dash of artistic license thrown in for good measure!!) Looks like very good English to me! :-)
