Super X - Skilled Stadium Geelong
On Saturday my brother and I went to the Super X at skilled Stadium in Geelong. Although our tickets were in the General Admission Standing area, after the event started the security personnel let us all into the seating area. The view was still restricted to around 25% of the track, but it was a good afternoon out.
All I need for next years event is a good lens and a lot of practice…

Thanks Allan. I’m glad you can’t add music with journals, I have enough trouble giving my photo’s/journal a title… If I had to add music it would take me a month to choose the appropriate song, although ‘We are the champions’ would go perfectly for this one ;o)

Top collection Stevie! I went past skilled stadium and saw the signs and thought it would be good. Kicking myself now that I didn’t go along.
I really like the sense of movement you have captured and the short depth of field making the background out of focus but the subject sharp. Really nice work!

Thanks Neil. I tried ‘panning’ to try and get the effect of movement and am reasonably happy that a couple turned out ok. It was a good afternoon and if you’de gone I’m sure you would have come away with some brilliant shots, so I’m sort of glad you didn’t go, you would have my shots look second rate at best! :o)
