Grooven
He was hunched over as he pulled the strings, filling the air with reminiscent melody. He began awkwardly and ended up in rhythm.
I could smell his gin martini from across the room. He closed his eyes and began to run his fingers up and down the neck like it was the back of a beautiful woman. The sound was slow and melodic as the room began to move.

This image is a compilation of sessions where musicians, artists and actors would congregate. The excessive drinking would feed the atmosphere as everyone felt the need to perform.
This 12×12 pen and ink drawing is the preliminary study for the original painting on printmaking paper 29×40/oil/chalk pastels
