Growing up in the 70’s with friends that were professional musicians was an amazing experience.
My friend Richard was more or less a self taught guitarist/vocalist and he seemed to excel at it. When we would hang out there was always one or two guitars around and Chrad ( Richards nick name) would have a new song he learned or something new to teach me.
It wasn’t until recently I realized my foundation for creating art came from those days when Richard and I were “Just sitin doing shit”
Everyday in the studio is like every other day except for what I bring to it. The most I can expect is what happens and that’s usually better than yesterday.
