Photography has been my life for many years. My early photo education started in Birmingham, AL at University Hospital working as a medical photographer. My mentors were Dick Gunthorpe and Sidney Lawrence. I will always be grateful to them. Dick was the hardnosed “rules” guy and Sidney was the technician and artist…
Later I would work as a cinematographer for a local television station.
Most of my years were in the Professional Photo Lab business and again I was blessed with a terrific mentor. His name was Peter Chestnut from Toronto, Canada. The sense of confidence and knowledge he shared always made me a winner!
I have noticed that my images seem to be pretty eclectic compared to so many others on the Bubble. I enjoy so many things that I happen upon and I try to pass them on with my photography. Birds, flowers and scenics are the main three subjects I suppose!
